Budget Scrapbooking with CTMH

As a new scrapbooking consultant, exerting to promote products while building my own supplies could be a little rough on my wallet my husband's wallet. I will tell myself yet again not to be consumed with the thought that "I need to have ____ for the lay out I'm piecing together".  I would like to enjoy spending some alone time working on my favorite hobby so I might as well make the most out of what I have at the moment, not over think things, and have fun. Simply put, I love paper crafting and having Close to My Heart as my "go-to" supplies made me in love with paper crafting even more . So you ask, is budget scrapbooking possible with CTMH? What products should you buy when you have a limited budget but don't want to compromise quality, and still want to achieve pretty pages? Whether you are a fellow consultant, a hobbyist, or just like any scrapper/card maker, here's my take on what to purchase:

Workshops on the Go® Kits ($29.95+)

Create exclusive projects using the coordinating products and instructional workshop guide in the Workshops on the Go® workshop kits. Each kit is available for a limited time.
This is the Stella workshop kit. Surely, with the coordinating accessories that is already included, you'll be scrapbooking in no time. Use the materials and instructions in this kit to create two-beautiful 2-page layouts; then use your remaining supplies along with a few additional items to make the bonus project.

Yes, additional items (like stamp pads, acrylic blocks, etc) will add to the original cost, BUT when this is what you have at the moment - then WORK WITH IT. That's where creativity happens!

Paper Packet ($9.95) plus Coordinating Elements ($4.95/$5.95) = $14.90+

These are usually featured together (both in one page) on CTMH's Idea Book. Here's an example:
This is my personal favorite, I have to admit. Why? See for yourself:

I just purchased the following: 12' x 12" Pemberley Paper Packet ($9.95) , Pemberley My Stickease® Assortment ($4.95) and Bouquet Assortment ($5.95) - Voila! My two-page layout is done. Total cost: $20.85 (tax and shipping not included, but since I am a consultant, I spent less than that of course). Please note that I don't have the instructions for this, I just cut and measure base on the example shown on the Idea Book and added stitching as well. I'd be happy to send you the measurements I made, though. Just email me. You can also use the paper packet and coordinating elements, be it a sticker or a rub-on, however way you want it and still achieve a well-coordinated, attractive lay out or an eye-catching project .

Then, out of the remaining supplies, I get to make these beautiful cards (mixed with my other stash of embellishments, stamp sets, and inks).
